Previously Held Positions : Preschool teacher

 

Courses Found Most Helpful : Those taught by Dr. Thiesson and Dr. Gish, are used most often, including Developmental Programming, Interpersonal Relationships, Parenting, Child Development, Marriage and the Family, etc.

 

How the HDFS Program Has Helped Prepare Her for Work : “I have found the counseling, interpersonal relations, and family studies helpful in relating to people and advising parents in need of help with parenting skills or marital and/or family issues.”

 

How Faith Interfaces with Work : “In my job, I carry a strong testimony with a recent bolder faith. Because of this, I can offer advice based on Biblical values. I also volunteer at church for VBS, Awana, and nursery. My Christian background and education are most useful there.”
