The Larsen Student Union provides a place of connection for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests of Messiah College. Its location at the center of campus helps the Union function as the “living room” of campus. It's a comfortable, common meeting place for all students to socialize, relax, and study. In addition, it's a place of connection between professors and students, an informal place to grab something to eat and continue conversations started in the classroom. Finally, it'ss a place for students to connect to SGA—their student government—and to the many student organizations that have office space in the Union.

The Larsen Student Union opened March 22, 2004 and was dedicated on September 24, 2004. The building is named in honor of Dorothy and Ralph Larsen, whose vision and generous support helped the student body’s dream of building a student union become a reality.
