Masland Shell Collection
This impressive shell collection has been generously donated by Isabel Masland to the Oakes Museum of Natural History so that the beauty, diversity
and intricacies of shells can be explored by others. Isabel Masland traveled the world including the Philippines, Bhutan, several African countries, and Costa Rica for over forty years in search of specimens to add to this collection.
“You run a top notch program. I have been recommending it to other parents & friends. Your staff people are very professional and well spoken. We will be Curator & Scout patrons for as long as you run the programs. Kudos to you all!”
