Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship	Up to $5,000 for semester or year study abroad. Must be U.S. citizen Must be currently receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application Deadline for Spring 2009: October 7 , 2008
Bridging Scholarship	Must be studying in Japan 100 scholarships awarded annually Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident No previous language experience necessary Open to students in any major Deadline for Spring 2009: October 6 , 2008
Freeman Asia: Awards for Study in Asia	Must be studying in East/Southeast Asia Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident Must have had little or no previous experience at study site Deadline for Spring 2009: October 15 , 2008
National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarship	Must be studying outside of Western Europe. Canada, Australia, or New Zealand Must be a U.S. citizen Preference given to students studying for a full year Deadline for 2009-2010: February 11, 2009
