Calendar
The MA Program in Youth and Young Adult Ministries offers courses in two different formats:
- one-week intensive courses held on campus;
- eight-week courses conducted entirely online
Individual courses are offered in only one of the two formats listed above, so students must take each course in its prescribed format.
Messiah College graduate programs follow a three semester calendar: Fall, Spring, and Summer. In the Youth and Young Adult Ministries Program, these semesters are further divided into terms, as shown below. Specific dates for these semesters and terms are found in the Academic Calendar. Students in the MA program in Youth and Young Adult Ministries are encouraged to take courses in each of the semesters as follows:
Summer Semester
- Early Summer Term (8 weeks)
- Late Summer Term (1 week intensive)
Fall Semester
- Early Fall Term (8 weeks)
- Late Fall Term (8 weeks)
Spring Semester
- January Term (1 week intensive)
- Early Spring Term (8 weeks)
- Late Spring Term (8 weeks)
For specific courses, see the course sequence page.
Students register for multiple terms at one time. During the Fall registration period (around April 1), students should register for Early Fall and Late Fall courses. During the Spring registration period (around November 1), students should register for January intensive, Early Spring, and Late Spring courses. During the Summer registration period students should register for Early and Late Summer (intensive) courses.
