Are you interested in seeing what online courses look like in Messiah’s Learning Management System (LMS), Sakai? A demo site is available offering access to the following:

Tabbed Content Areas

My Workspace — This is an area provided to all users of Sakai. It provides communication to the entire Messiah online learning community through the Message of the Day. Students may view Announcements and Scheduled items on a calendar from all of the courses that they are registered for.

HELP (for students) — This is an area provided to all users of Sakai. This site is live. What you see through the Demo is what all users of Sakai see. Click on any of the links to view what students receive for support.

Library — This is an area provided to all users of Sakai. This site is live. What you see through the Demo is what all users of Sakai see. Click on the any of the links to view what is available through the library.

Sample Course A — This course is a demo. Tools may not work exactly like those in an actual course. This is an example of what a course may look like in Sakai.

To access this demo site, you will click on “Course Preview” on the Gateway page of the Messiah’s Learning Management System (LMS), Sakai. (There is no need to login.)
