8/28/08	NEW STUDENT RECEPTION - All incoming College Honors participants are invited to a reception in Howe Atrium (Boyer Hall) at 2:00 p.m.
9/10/08	DONALD OPITZ - Associate professor of higher education and sociology at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, and director of Geneva's Master of Arts in Higher Education, Don will speak on his book, "The Outrageous Idea of Academic Faithfulness."  7:00 p.m. in Frey 110.  Free and open to the public.
9/30/08	FRED BARNES - Executive Editor of "The Weekly Standard" and FOX News political commentator will speak on the 2008 presidential election.  7:30 p.m. in Brubaker Auditorium.  Free and open to the public.   Ticket and other information coming soon.
