Bernardo A. Michael

Assistant Professor

Bernardo joined our department in the fall of 2001. He has completed his Ph.D. in Asian and world history at the University of Hawaii, where he specialized in the history of the Indian Subcontinent.

Bernardo will be teaching courses in the following areas:

World Civilizations Surveys (premodern and modern)
The History of India
Comparative Asian History
India in the Age of Gandhi
