Regina Barrett is an active orchestral musician in the Central Pennsylvania region. Currently, she is Principal Bassist of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and Assistant Principal Bassist of the Reading Symphony Orchestra.. Ms. Barrett is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Peabody Conservatory. She is also a former Tanglewood Fellow. Her principal teachers include Timothy Cobb and Lawrence Hurst. She has also worked with such noted bassists as Harold Robinson and Ed Barker. Regina Barrett is on the faculty at Messiah College and York College. She also maintains a private studio. She resides in Middletown, PA with her husband Patrick.
