Aaron T. Patterson
Mr. Patterson's teaching experiences include private lesson instruction and elementary, middle, and high school instrumental music education in the Pennsylvania public schools. He is an avid pit orchestra musician and chamber musician. In 2002 he participated in the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, placing third in the senior wind division with “A Few Good Reeds.” Aaron was principal saxophonist with the 2003 WASBE International Youth Wind Orchestra in Jonkoping, Sweden and has guest-soloed with the Johnstown and Butler Symphony Orchestras. He recently presented a lecture-recital on the music of Robert Clerisse at the 2008 International Saxophone Symposium at George Mason University and performed at the 2007 North American Saxophone Alliance Region 8 Conference with the quartet “To the Four.” Mr. Patterson is a member of the Harrisburg Wednesday Club, NASA, Carlisle Musical Arts Club, Local 41 of AF of M, and PMEA. |
