Mr. Patterson is currently pursuing his D.M.A. in Saxophone Performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City under the tutelage of Dr. Paul Cohen. In addition to acting as adjunct saxophone professor at Messiah College, Aaron also teaches as woodwind artist-in-residence at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland. Previous teaching experiences include private woodwind lesson instruction and four years of elementary, middle, and high school instrumental music education in the Pennsylvania public schools. Aaron is a very active chamber artist and pit orchestra musician; he is alto saxophonist for the Manhattan Saxophone Quartet (MSQ) and regularly plays for musicals at Totem Pole Playhouse, Mountain Playhouse, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and Altoona Community Theatre. Mr. Patterson is a member of the Harrisburg Wednesday Club, Carlisle Musical Arts Club, and Local 41 of the American Federation of Musicians.
