Connecting to the Campus Network

Dial-up access to the Messiah College modem pool was disabled 6/21/2007 due to lack of use and the expense of maintaining. Messiah employees may access their campus network resources via MCSquare through their own Internet Service Provider.

Accessing Your Information

The most effective method for accessing your Messiah content online is via MCSquare (http://mcsquare.messiah.edu). Through MCSquare you have access to announcements, employee and student searches, GroupWise Webmail and Calendar, your network file space (O: and N: drives, etc. via "MyFiles" icon/link) and more! Simply login to MCSquare using your Novell/GroupWise username and password.

Accessing GroupWise Webmail directly via Firefox or Internet Explorer
Simply browse to the web address https://mymail.messiah.edu (or click this link) and login using your GroupWise username and password. You will have access to all general GroupWise mail functions.

Using VPN

If you have a high-speed Internet connection, you can connect to Messiah's network through a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection in your web browser. Connecting to the campus network via VPN will allow you to perform many of the same functions you would perform in your office while you are off campus. Instructions can be found here.
