Outreach, Service, Ministry Opportunities

Messiah College is dedicated to intentionally blending learning and Christian faith in unique and meaningful ways so that our students will be equipped to be agents of change in the world and to serve others.

As part of the Messiah community, you’ll find many places and programs where you can apply the values of your faith in practical, hands-on ways. The opportunities for spiritual growth and service are abundant at Messiah College — and the rewards for you and others are tremendous.

Klowns_for_the_Kingdom

Klowns for the Kingdom is a student ministry that brings the Word of God to all ages through skits and comedic interaction. The Klowns are available for performance or even to just twist balloon animals at large events or small gatherings. They strive to break down the Biblical concepts presented through their skits so children can understand the truths and apply them to their lives.

“…Messiah nurtures its students in the values of community building, peacemaking, and reconciliation. It also promotes diversity. It equips students for service, especially to the poor and the dispossessed. And it leads students to think through — and to act on — thorny social issues such as wealth and poverty, global warming and race relations.”
       Richard T. Hughes

Richard T. Hughes is distinguished professor and senior fellow in the Ernest L. Boyer Center at Messiah College.  Excerpt from Patriot News (Harrisburg, Pa.) Sunday, May 6, 2007. Read the entire article here.
