Ashley Icard
Hi! My name is Ashley Icard and I am proud to be your Southeastern Admissions Counselor. I am here to help answer any questions you might have regarding the Messiah College experience. My job with Messiah is unique because I actually live in Charlotte, North Carolina which enables me to travel freely in the Southern states.
As a Messiah graduate, I can attest to how valuable a Messiah College education has been to me. Not only did I receive an excellent education, but more importantly, Messiah taught me how to integrate my Christian faith with a real world perspective through challenging classes and supportive professors.
During my time at Messiah, I took advantage of just a few of the numerous programs available to students. I completed two Public Relations internships through our Internship Center. These internships taught me how to put to use the theories and skills I learned in my Communications classes in real business settings. I also participated in a Cross Cultural Study for three weeks in the French West Indies in the Caribbean. It was nice to escape Pennsylvania during January and travel to warm, sunny islands for three weeks to be immersed in a different culture.

You should also consider visiting campus to get the real vibe of life at Messiah – you can even stay in a dorm!
