¡Bienvenidos! and Welcome!

The time has come! Juniors and seniors, as your high school careers come to an end, you’re beginning to make plans for the future. It is my sincere hope that Messiah College is included in your plans.

As a first generation Puerto Rican, born and raised in Philadelphia, I can understand the challenges of going to college, especially when there is no family tradition of higher education. I was scared to leave my loved ones behind in Philly and unsure of the road that lie ahead. But after much thought and prayer, I made the decision to attend Messiah.

My time at Messiah College was one that helped me to know who I was as a person. I attended challenging classes, was involved in a variety of student groups, and even had the opportunity to study at Temple University through the Messiah Philly Campus. These experiences opened my eyes to new people, places, and ideas and prepared me for my personal, vocational, and spiritual lives.

Now, as an admissions counselor, I can help people realize the dream I too had: a quality Christian higher education.
