Shaun Turner
Hi! Thanks for visiting my webpage! My name is Shaun Turner and I am associate director of admissions here at Messiah. You may see me at your high school, a college fair, or when you come for a campus visit. I hope that as you tour our site, you will discover all that Messiah offers and why this truly is a place of higher education and higher calling that is both rigorously academic and unapologetically Christian.
One of the most significant decisions you will ever make is which college you will attend. My own decision to attend Messiah College was the beginning of a four-year experience that God used to challenge, mold, and prepare me for life. As a member of numerous music ensembles, I formed life-long friendships (and met my wife), traveled extensively (including Ireland), and began to discover how I could glorify God through all aspects of my life.
Academically I was a history major, focusing the majority of my studies on Asian history and culture, and was able to conclude my four years at Messiah with an independent study examining the caste system of South Asia and a trip to the country of Nepal. I firmly believe that you too, will find that Messiah College provides countless opportunities for you to develop in intellect, character, and Christian faith.
