Give Back to Your World
Service is an important part of who we are as a Christian college. But we don’t just talk about the importance of service; we give you lots of opportunities and make it easy for you to get involved.
Just as Messiah’s classes will help you apply your learning in real-world settings, being a part of the Messiah community will help you use your skills and interests to make a difference in the world right now. In fact, Messiah students recently volunteered more than 60,000 hours of community service within a single year!
We even cancel classes and give employees time off on our annual Service Day each spring so that students, faculty, and staff can volunteer together. You might choose to help out as a buddy to special-needs athletes during Special Olympics, which is held on Messiah’s campus during Service Day or participate in a variety off-campus service activities.
