And because we think learning should be “hands-on” as well as intellectually challenging, you will also get to apply your learning in lots of meaningful ways—no matter which major you choose.

Whatever you’re studying—engineering, nursing, criminal justice, religion, education—we make it as easy as possible for you to gain real-world, resumé-building, hands-on learning experiences through programs such as:

• Service-learning classes, where you'll get discipleship, service, and community involvement opportunities while you earn college credits.
• 30 study abroad programs in more than 40 countries at little or no more cost to you than a regular semester. Our nationally ranked program makes it as easy as possible for you to study in places like Egypt, Ireland, Russia, Japan, and more!
• Internships and Professional Development Experience (PDE) opportunities are available to you through Messiah’s Internship Center, a program so successful that over 300 colleges, universities, and other organizations across the nation have used it as a model to develop their own programs.
