Financial Aid

Messiah College is committed to keeping quality Christian higher education as affordable as possible. Nearly 97% of all Messiah students benefit from scholarships, grants, loans and work-study. Our Financial Aid Office will provide an estimate of financial aid to accepted students after receiving the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the year you desire to transfer. Transfer Scholarships

Transfer students may receive the following awards:

• Provost's Scholarships ranging from $9,000-$11,000 are awarded to transfer students with a minimum 3.0 college GPA. Click here for more detailed information on this scholarship.
• Phi Theta Kappa scholarships are awarded to transfer students who provide proof of membership in Phi Theta Kappa. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and is in addition to the Provost's Scholarship. This is a renewable reward.

Transfer scholarships are renewable each year provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. These amounts are based on selection criteria for the 2009-2010 academic year.

The amount of the Provost's Scholarship award may be adjusted upon receipt of new information (updated transcripts) at any time prior to June 1 for fall enrollment, December 1 for spring enrollment. Adjustments to Provost's Scholarships are not allowed after these dates.
