This overnight experience has been organized with your specific interests in mind! The Department of Theatre and Dance showcases six performances in every academic year - this spring, we welcome all ages to join us for A Year With Frog and Toad!*Foregoing the performance, prospective students will have the opportunity to become more familiar with Messiah's campus and academic offerings. You will also be joined by one of our student Ambassadors during this experience; student Ambassadors are committed to the success of your experience, they represent our student body and strive to exhibit the character of Messiah's campus. This overnight experience is intended to give you a very comprehensive view of life in a residence hall. You will be interacting with many of our students who desire to make your overnight a memorable and wonderful event! The evening will begin with dinner in our Dining Hall, followed by some different group activities led by our own student leaders from “The Loft Team” (http://tiny.cc/messiahcollegeLOFT). You will have the rest of the evening to spend time with your host and experience the Student Union and residence halls. The following day, you have the opportunity to join us for our Open House, in which you will be able to choose a number of different information sessions that will hopefully answer any remaining questions you have.

Accepted Student Preview Days (ASPD’s)! You might be thinking, what are they? Here it is. An ASPD is relative to the different “Schools” on campus; each School is an umbrella to different majors. This ASPD encompasses the Biological Sciences, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Engineering, Health & Human Performance, Information & Mathematical Sciences, Nursing, and Nutrition & Dietetics. On your arrival, a day before the ASPD, you will be paired up with one of our Messiah College Student Ambassadors who will be your overnight host into the following day. On Friday evening, you are invited to experience organic campus life by spending the evening and night with your host and their peers. There is also the option to attend a weekly worship experience on Thursday night; Powerhouse is student led and an integral part of spirituality at Messiah. During the next day, you will have the opportunity to attend classes, meet faculty, talk to current students, and explore in depth what it means to be a student in the School of the Science Engineering & Health. We hope this ASPD and your evening with our students are valuable components of your overall experience with Messiah College.

Accepted Student Preview Days (ASPD’s)! You might be thinking, what are they? Here it is. An ASPD is relative to the different “Schools” on campus; each School is an umbrella to different majors. This ASPD encompasses the Musical, Visual, and Performing Arts—during the day, you will have the opportunity to attend classes, meet faculty, talk to current students, and explore in depth what it means to be a student in the School of the Arts. Following the day’s program, you will be paired up with one of our Messiah College Student Ambassadors who will be your overnight host into the following day. On Friday evening, you are invited to the newly constructed Worship and Performing Arts Center, which will be hosting the Messiah College Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Messiah’s own Director of Orchestral Activities, Dr. Timothy Dixon. As a reminder, any student that is a declared Music or Theatre & Dance major will be required to audition; these can be individually scheduled for this weekend (Saturday) through your respective department.

Messiah College, on a Friday afternoon/evening. The possibilities are numerous. First, your arrival to campus will be immediately joined by a Messiah College Student Ambassador. These students will be with you all evening and hosting you overnight. In the afternoon you will see the campus, meet with Admissions, and have any questions answered as best as possible. After the more individualized appointments, your evening is rather open ended. There is a Baseball game (against our top rival!), our on-campus Movie Theatre (http://www.facebook.com/#!/SABLostFilms), disc golf, and a load of other activities! We hope that you experience organic campus life by spending the evening and night with your host and their peers. The following day, you have the opportunity to join us for our Open House, in which you will be able to choose a number of different information sessions that will hopefully answer any remaining questions you have.
