About The Clinics
A long-time staple to the Falcons’ program, Messiah College softball will be offering its winter pitching clinic for the 14th consecutive year and skills clinic for an 18th straight time this winter, granting players of all ages and ability levels ample opportunities to improve their game.
“We’ve found these clinics to be a very good way for athletes to improve both their pitching and their overall game to another level,” said Amy Weaver, Messiah head coach. “We’ve had a lot of success stories over the years, and the popularity of these clinics continues to grow. We’re very excited about this winter.”
Clinic Schedules
Messiah will offer its skills clinic Sunday, Feb. 13th and its pitching clinics on three Sundays in November (7th, 14th and 21st) and again over five Fridays throughout the months of January and February. Following three November sessions, the Falcons’ pitching clinic will take place Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28 and Feb. 4 and 11 — with sessions beginning at 6:40 p.m., 7:40 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Messiah’s skills clinic will be held Sunday, Feb. 13th from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m., divided into two sections based on age and ability. All clinics will take place on the campus of Messiah College.
Clinic Costs
Enrollment for the November pitching clinic is $45 per camper, while the Jan./Feb. session costs $70. Athletes can attend both sessions for a discounted price of $100. Cost of the skills clinic is $60. Space is limited — especially for the pitching clinic — so early registration is encouraged. A $20, non-refundable deposit is due for each clinic application.
