Sam McLoota joins the Messiah staff as assistant coach with the primary responsibility of working with the outfield.
Previously, Sam was the co-head coach at Boiling Springs High School from 1997-2005. In 2006 he took over as head coach, leading his team into the District playoffs, and ultimately into the PA State playoffs in 2007. As a result of his team's success, he was named as the Sentinel newspaper “Coach of the Year” in 2007. Sam brings a combined 20 years of coaching experience.
Sam will take on his first season with the Falcons this year.
