Under his tutelage the Messiah pitching staff has a six year combined team ERA of 1.80, as well as coaching three All-Conference pitchers, two Regional All-American's and one National All-American pitcher for the falcons. Alex has also created two All-Conference catchers as well as two Regional All-Americans. Alex has been teaching pitchers for over 15 years doing guest clinics throughout central PA, as well as doing private lessons to many of the area's most successful pitchers, several receiving DI scholarships.

Prior to joining Coach Weaver's staff, he was the head coach and pitching coach at Boiling Springs High School from 1997 to 2005, where his teams had a combined record of 127-61, winning 3 league titles, and participating in district play in each of the 9 seasons.

Coach Weaver says, "Alex is a vital part of this program. He is involved in almost every aspect of the program. He is key from the recruiting process all the way to game time. He has successfully coached our pitchers and catchers and their accolades speak for themselves. We couldn't do it without him."
