Coach "Sass", a '76 graduate of Messiah, is in his 17th season with the Falcons. Prior to working with the women's program he coached for 7 years in the men's programs at both Messiah College and Dickinson College. His love and passion for the game can be seen in his intense desire for the team to excel on the defensive end of the floor.
Coach Larry Sassaman is a 7th grade math teacher in the Cumberland Valley School District. He lives in Mechanicsburg with his wife Kathy and their son Andrew. Their daughter, Kristin, completed her outstanding career at Messiah a few years ago.
