Christen (Beaver) Ritchey begins her career as an assistant coach for the Messiah Falcons this year. A 2002 alumna, Ritchey graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology.

While a part of Messiah’s Women’s Lacrosse Program as a player, Ritchey was named MAC Rookie of the Year in 1999. She holds 8th place for Messiah’s all time point’s record with 136 points.

Coach Greer is excited about the experience and knowledge Ritchey brings to the team. “She has a great mind for the game,” says Greer, “and is a tremendous asset to our team and we are thrilled to have her join this team.”

Ritchey resides in York, PA with her husband Tim and their three children, Pierce (4), Avery (3) and Tate (1).
