Junior Rachel Scheibeler (19) was one of eight different Falcons to score a goal in the first two rounds of the NCAA Championships Tournament this past weekend.
Grantham, PA — Coming off their First and Second Round victories over Elms College and Skidmore College, the Messiah College Falcons will now host a Third Round and Quarterfinal of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championships. The Falcons will be opposed by SUNY New Paltz on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. The second game of the day will feature Johns Hopkins University and Amherst College, with the start time scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The winners of the Third Round games will play on Sunday, November 20, at 1:00 p.m. All games at Messiah College will be played on Shoemaker Field.
Johns Hopkins (21-0) comes into the Third Round after defeating Eastern Connecticut State University and Springfield College by scores of 6-1 and 4-1, respectively. The Blue Jays will be opposed by Amherst College, as the Lord Jeffs (19-0) defeated both Castleton State College and Misericordia University by scores of 3-1.
