Inclement Weather Policy
Due to the fact that keynote speakers are traveling from California and South Carolina for a contracted date and rescheduling is not possible, every effort will be made to hold the event as scheduled. Individuals should exercise their own judgment and make personal decisions regarding travel.
In case of extremely severe weather and/or both keynote speakers are unable to travel to campus, the College may cancel the symposium. A decision to cancel will be made by 6 a.m. on the day of the event. A cancellation decision will be communicated via e-mail to pre-registered persons and a message will be placed on the College’s emergency phone line [717-691-6084]. Cancellations may also be announced via these media outlets – Radio: WHP 580, 97.3, 94.9, 99.3 and WITF 98.5 or TV: CBS-WHP - 21.
Should the College decide to cancel the event a partial refund [50%] will be offered to pre-registrants. Due to prior financial commitments to speakers and other program costs, no other refunds are available for any other circumstances.
