Popular Messiah College recipes (Please note that these recipes have been altered to allow for preparation in smaller quantities. Therefore, some of the measurements may seem a little bit odd and will, in some instances, likely require "careful estimation!") 5, 4 oz. chicken breasts Make honey glaze by combining honey and syrup. Heat to 165 degrees. Add pecans and serve over chicken. Strawberry Pretzel Dessert 14.75 oz. of crushed, thin pretzels Instructions: Melt margarine; add sugar and pretzels. Press in bottom of pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool. Blend cream cheese and sugar into whipped topping; pour over cooled pretzels. Dissolve Jello in water. Add strawberries with juice. Place in refrigerator until Jello begins to gel. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate. Baby Bleu Salad 5 oz. of Spring Mix Instructions: Toss greens with vinaigrette and crumbled bleu cheese. Arrange orange slices over greens; sprinkle with strawberries. Top with Sweet & Spicy Pecans. Sweet & Spicy Pecan Recipe 1 2/3 tbsp. + 3/4 tsp. sugar 2 7/8 tsp sugar Combine sugar, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Add pecans tossing to coat. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until pecans are golden brown. |
