The Department of Biological Sciences offers you seven majors and many preprofessional programs.

By combining the foundations of scientific knowledge and methods with a Christian perspective about God's creation and our place in it, majors in this department follow an innovative, hands-on curriculum. Through your studies in this department, you'll learn how to "do" science—not just study the theory of it.

Since Messiah's General Education program requires all students to take a laboratory science course, our fundamental class offerings benefit students studying majors outside of our department as well.
