Dr. Twila-Mae Logan

Dr. Twila-Mae Logan grew up in Port Antonio, Jamaica in a Methodist/Anglican family. She attended The University of the West Indies (Cave Hill campus - Barbados) and graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics and Meteorology. She continued her studies at Dalhousie University in Canada and completed her MBA concentrating in Finance. Here she developed a passion for the academics and continued on to the Ohio State University to pursue a PhD in Business Administration majoring in Finance and a minor in Economics.
Dr. Logan returned to Jamaica and joined the faculty of the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus) working both in an academic unit and the Mona Institute of Business. Here, she developed and revised several finance courses and programs. Returning to the United States in 2001, Dr. Logan taught at the Nova Southeastern University in their undergraduate, masters and doctoral business programs.
Dr. Logan has served the Methodist Church in Jamaica as the chair of the District Investment Sub-committee and as class leader at Coke Methodist Church in Kingston Jamaica. More recently, she served as chair of the finance committee at Epworth United Methodist Church in Hollywood, Florida.
She is married to Clive Scott and together they have a 6 year old son, Christopher.
