Dr. Gary Page came to Messiah College in 2006 following a career as a tenured accounting professor at the University of Maine at Augusta. He founded and operated an accounting practice which he operated for several years. Although he sold the practice, he continues to provide accounting and consulting services, especially to chiropractors.
Gary recently earned a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University. His dissertation topic is “Ethics and Government Accountants.” His undergraduate degree is from Bob Jones University and his M.B.A. is from University of Southern Maine.
He has been heavily involved in his church over the years in a variety of positions including, Deacon, Treasurer, and Sunday School teacher. He also enjoys lay preaching occasionally in his own church and other churches. Gary has served as a consultant and/or board member for a number of Christian organizations. Most recently he has been active in Gideons International. Until he moved to Pennsylvania in 2006, he was Maine State Vice President and spoke extensively for the organization both within and outside the state. In October 2005 he participated in a Gideon mission trip to Namibia, Africa.
Gary is married to Ida, his wife of 35 years. They have four married daughters and six (soon to be seven) grandchildren. Ida is a chiropractor. She recently sold a practice in Maine and intends to start another one in this area.
