Dr. Ron Webb MBA: Business Administration 126 Frey Hall X2327 RWebb@messiah.edu Personal Homepage Dr. Ron Webb first came to Messiah College in 1980 and served as Professor of Management and Department Chair until 1998 when he left to become Vice President and Academic Dean at Huntington College in Indiana. From Huntington College, Dr. Webb accepted a post in China as a senior officer at a new American-style university only to have the project collapse. He returned to Messiah College in 2004 to assume the post of Managing Director of the International Business Institute and Visiting Professor. Dr. Webb grew up in the midwest and attended Wheaton College. Graduate degrees (MBA and DBA) were earned at the University of Maryland where he also taught for six years. Following Maryland were teaching and administrative stints in Iran, at Penn State University, and Stonehill College in Massachusetts before coming to Messiah College. He has served on numerous college committees over the years and has been active in consulting for many years. He also serves on several boards. He has made numerous professional presentations and has also published in journals such as The Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Journal, Michigan Business Review, Business Studies, American Journal of Small Business, Journal of College Placement, Research in Christian Higher Education. Dr. Webb is married to Joan who taught as an adjunct at Messiah College for a number of years. Ron and Joan have three grown sons (who all attended Christian colleges) and six beloved grandchildren. |
