E-Marketing Major



For this major, you will take the same core of business courses foundational to all business majors at Messiah College. Taught from a Christian perspective, these courses will help you integrate your faith with e marketing studies and practical experiences. Your academic advisor at Messiah’s Grantham campus will also assist you in planning courses for your two required semesters at Temple University in collaboration with Messiah’s Philadelphia Campus.

Practical Experience

One student summarized her participation in this program by saying, “My experiences while living and studying in Philadelphia were fantastic. I was a bit worried in the beginning but I soon discovered that the classes that I completed at Messiah’s Grantham campus fully equipped me to be successful in the e marketing classes I took at Temple University.” She went on to say, “I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to interact with knowledgeable professors, interesting guest speakers, and to visit local businesses. Opportunities

As an e-marketing major, you will build on skills gained in traditional marketing studies while emphasizing a new channel of communication and distribution—the Internet. You will study the theories, tools and functions needed to use electronic marketing in the business-to-business, business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer, and consumer-to-business sectors.
