Chemistry/Biochemistry Reception Homecoming 2008 - a reception will be held for all chemistry/ biochemistry alumni during Homecoming 2008.  More information will be mailed out in the fall.

The 7th Annual Fall Senior Research Symposium, Thursday, December 13, 2007, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Kline Hall of Science and Jordan Science Center.  Click here for a list of presentations.

The 4th Annual Scholarship Symposium for the School of Health and Natural Sciences will be held on April 18, 2008.

Bill Deal

 

Tuesday, March 4, 5:00 p.m. in Kline 106 - Bill Deal '04, Chemistry Teacher,

Mechanicsburg High School will present "The Chemistry Teacher's Survival Guide".

Bill is a Messiah alum who is currently teaching high school chemistry.  He will talk about career opportunities in this area and will also answer any questions you might have concerning chemistry education, teaching certification, etc.

Principal Chemist, Method Development and Validation, Pharmaceutical

Sciences, Lancaster Laboratories, Inc., will speak on "The Use of Gas and

Liquid Chromatography Couples with Mass Spectrometry to Solve Complex

Analytical Problems in the Pharmaceutical Industry".

Thursday, April 24, 5:00 p.m. in Kline 120 - Duane Currier '06, Fellowship

Program, National Institutes of Health will speak on "Gene expression

profiling of EWS/FLI-1 expressing human mesenchymal pluripotent cells

reveals similarities to Ewing's Sacroma cell lines and tumors".
