Tiff Mills ('13)

Tiff MillsYou have probably seen Tiff Mills playing at a women’s basketball game. However, this sophomore PR student also loves communicating with people and managing relationships. While in high school, Tiff was a captain on her basketball team. She described this role as similar to public relations by being “the middle man between the coach and team, attempting to satisfy both sides.” Looks like a PR professional in the making!


Major/concentration: communication with a public relations concentration; sports management minor


Hometown: Hughesville, Md.


Favorite verse: James 1:6, “But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed”


Favorite Messiah food: cheese steak


Campus involvement: Newman Club, Women’s Basketball, Track and Field


What famous basketball player would you like to meet: Michael Jordan, most successful not only in sport, but also in business with marketing


Ideal job: PR/marketing specialist for sport organization or team

  Who is your inspiration: I don’t think I could narrow it down to one

  person. There are so many people who have influenced me during

  my lifetime.

What type of music do you like to play/hear on WVMM: Alternative Christian Music


How long have you been listening to WVMM: Since I was in 6th grade...which was about 8 years ago!


Campus involvement: I work at the radio station, and am involved with Tabitha’s knitting group

Inspiration: Franklin Graham, president & CEO of both the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) & the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse.


Campus Involvement: Senior Resident Assistant in Fry Apartments, Tech Crew Student Leader, PRSSA, Rec Sports Floor Hockey


Internship: I intern as Stephen Bloom’s campaign manager in his bid to become a state representative.
