What is Business Information Systems?

Business Information Systems focuses on helping ordinary people get the most out of their computers. It is the study and application of hardware, software and communication technologies to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and value of organization processes. In many colleges and universities including Messiah College it is called Business Information Systems (BIS). It is also known as Management Information Systems (MIS).
