The Messiah College Landmine Action Project is a group of students
dedicated to the three points of mine action:
- Removing existing landmines and preventing their use.
- Rehabilitating landmine survivors and reintegrating them into
society.
- Educating society about landmines and their effects.
The mission of our student-led group is to educate and equip the
Messiah Community and collaborate with like-minded humanitarian groups
to facilitate multidisciplinary projects that address the real world
needs of mine action. We accomplish this goal through many
avenues, including research and education by the core MCLAP group and
senior projects by groups of engineering students.
