Engineers' Weekend Prospective Students: Come learn more about us! Every year, the Messiah College Engineering Department invites high school juniors and seniors to learn more about us by coming to Engineers' Weekend. Engineers' Weekend dates for Spring 2009 are February 20-21 and March 6-7. Purpose: A gathering of prospective engineering students to:

Attendees: A maximum of 25 persons who have an interest in engineering can be accepted at each Engineers' Weekend. If we have more interest than available spots we will give preference to:
Please also note that for the February date preference will be given to students who are also attending Accepted Students Preview Day. Family: While the Friday activities and overnight stay is available for prospective students only, parents and other family members are invited to attend a reception and visit our laboratories at 2:00 PM Saturday, as well as attend the Design Play-Offs at 3:00 PM on Satuday. Both of these events occur in Frey Hall. Nominal Fee: The $20 registration fee partially offsets our expenses for meals and supplies. You are responsible for transportation to and from the college. Accomodations: Attendees will stay overnight with Messiah Engineering students in a dormitory room or apartment. Please bring your overnight belongings and a sleeping bag. The activities pictured involved some warm-up games lead by Issachar's Loft, a design contest (which involved using Legos to kill a dragon and rescue a princess), and presentations by different student groups.
