Personal Statement:
Professor Smith spends his leisure hours building a Time Machine that will carry him back to Elizabethan England where he will weasel his way into Shakespeare's company, or at the very least, hang out at the Theatre, the Rose, the Globe, and Blackfriars, watching plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries. If he succeeds, he'll miss his friends at Messiah, the Appalachian mountains, and Phillies' baseball. If he fails, you'll find him teaching Shakespeare and traveling to Scotland whenever possible.
