Distinguished Service to Families Award

The Distinguished Service to Families Award, established by the Mid-Atlantic Council on Family Relations, recognizes a resident of the Mid-Atlantic region for outstanding leadership and/or service to improve family living and strengthen families. One Distinguished Service to Families Award will be given each year to a deserving candidate who meets the established criteria. Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by another. The award will be presented to the recipient at the annual Building Strong Families Conference.
Nominations should include the following information:
- Name and title of nominee, nominee’s employer, as well as contact information (address, e-mail, phone number).
Nominee must reside within the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware or Maryland to be considered.
- Brief statement (1-2 pages) relative to how the nominee has provided outstanding leadership and/or service to
improve family living and strengthen families.
- Any supporting documents (e.g., vita, works produced, newsletter articles describing their work) or other letters
of recommendation (at least one additional letter of support is recommended) which further substantiate your nomination.
- Name and contact information of nominator (address, e-mail, phone number).
