The 20th Annual Regional
Building Strong Families Conference
“Families and Economic Uncertainty”
Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA
|
The goal for the 2010 conference is to explore the topic of families managing and surviving in these uncertain economic times. Appropriate topics might include such things as maximizing family budgets, green living, dual earner households, job loss and impact on families and communities, managing debt, bankruptcy, creativity in hard economic times, pooling resources, work and family conflict, family businesses, and related matters. Proposals for hour-long workshops may include descriptions of successful programs, research findings, curriculum, panel discussions, participation exercises, or other creative formats. We expect presentations to be interactive and applied.
Whether you are a human service professional, an educator, or a student you will not want to miss out on this conference.
