Departmental Organizations Purpose: The purpose of ATSA is to bring together the Athletic Training majors with the intent of furthering our education through association with others in the professional field, attendance at seminars, conferences, and other related activities. Purpose: Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity is a national professional fraternity for persons engaged in or pursuing careers in Physical Education, Health, Recreation, Dance, Human Performance, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, and Sports Management. Membership is open to all persons interested in the purposes of the Fraternity and in providing their time and energies for the benefit of Physical Education, Health, Recreation, Dance, Human Performance, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, and Sports Management. Faculty Representative: Dr. Scott Kieffer Pre-Physical Therapy Club Purpose: The overall purpose of the club is to enhance awareness of the physical therapy profession for Messiah College students majoring in Health & Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy by providing information regarding the admission process to PT schools, bringing local physical therapists to campus for presentations and networking with students, organizing visits to PT schools, and hosting representatives from PT schools on our campus.
