Messiah College Choral Arts Society
Audition Information

The Choral Arts Society will be performing George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” on April 19, 2009, 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill with a professional orchestra and soloists soprano Sasha Tedford, mezzo-soprano Barbara Rearick, bass Damian Savarino, and tenor Jeffrey Fahnestock. Sections of Parts I, II and III will be performed. The year 2009 is the 250th anniversary of Handel’s death.

Auditions for the coming season:

The audition is a 7-minute time slot.  Linda Tedford, the conductor, would like you to have a prepared piece that shows your voice range in any style of music.  We will provide the accompanist.  You will also be asked to match some pitches that are played on the piano and to sight read a piece.
