Our Program
 At
Messiah College, you'll find studying music is more than notes and rhythms.
As you develop into an outstanding musician, you'll be equipped to successfully
enter a specialized career in music. You'll also be contributing to the
Messiah College community and the worship experience of the church, learning
to integrate your faith with the practice and teaching of music.
During your years
of study, you'll gain the technical and expressive skills you need to
perform at an advanced level on your chosen instrument. And you'll find
plenty of opportunities to perform in both solo and ensemble settings.
You'll also learn skills for conducting and directing rehearsals, musical
analysis, composition, and musical research. All of these practical skills,
of course, are backed by sound theoretical and historical studies.
