The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Mission is to prepare students to serve and lead with excellence as they pursue Biblically grounded, evidence based practice in Nutrition, Food Service, and Dietetics. |
Department Goals:
1. To prepare students to succeed in dietetic internships, graduate school or entry level
jobs in nutrition and dietetics, food service, or related professional settings.
2. To nurture students’ ability to apply Biblical principles and scientific evidence as they
practice nutrition, food service, and dietetics.
3. To promote professional development, leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and
community service.
