Our Academic Programs

As a psychology major at Messiah College you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of human behavior in an environment that encourages you to challenge and solidify the integration of your Christian faith and the professional field of psychology. By combining academic theory with practical hands-on experience, our programs help prepare you for your post-graduate aspirations of entering the work force or continuing your education through graduate-level studies.

What's the difference between the B.A. and the B.S.?

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Our B.A. in Psychology prepares students for placements in entry-level positions in the helping professions or for graduate school in many sub-fields of psychology.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Our B.S. in Psychology is designed for students who intend to work in a field that has a stronger emphasis on science or math or for those who wish to pursue graduate studies that lean more towards research and the sciences.
