Assistant Professor - The University of North Carolina Wilmington Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice invites applications for two full-time tenure track assistant professor positions beginning August 2008. The department has over 20 full-time faculty members, roughly 350 majors, and offers bachelor’s degrees in sociology, criminal justice, and a growing concentration in public sociology. We also offer an MA in criminology and public sociology which is new for fall 2007.
(#4031) Position 1: Sociology with a criminology concentration, other areas of specialization are open.
(#6007) Position 2: Sociology, with specialization areas open. Candidates must have the Ph.D. in sociology in hand by time of appointment.
