Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts

Construction is underway on campus for the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. When completed, this construction will give the theatre department better access to Miller Auditorium, and a new, fully equipped black box theatre. The construction will also allow the transformation of the current instrumental rehearsal hall into a new Dance studio.

Construction Timeline

Messiah's Board of Trustees conducted a brief ceremonial ground breaking for the new worship and performing arts center on May 13, 2010. During the summer and fall a new parking lot was constructed nearby and utilities will be moved in preparation for actual construction to begin in early 2011. The college anticipates opening the facility to students in early 2013.
