Additional Resources

Since the purpose of this website is to be a quick reference, there may be times when a more detailed bit of help is needed.  In this situation, we highly recommend finding this additional help instead of thinking that you will “figure it out as you go.”  This method of learning is VERY frustrating to production staff, casts, and crews.

We suggest asking experienced Stage Managers for advice or checking in with professors and/or the technical director.  Beyond this, there are several good books that can be VERY helpful.

The Stage Management Handbook by Daniel A. Ionazzi
