susanna bede caroselli, phd
Susanna Bede Caroselli, professor of art history at Messiah College, graduated from Brown University and received a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University. She has been a member of the curatorial and editorial staffs at the Frick Collection (NY), Detroit Institute of Arts, and Los Angeles County Museum and has taught art history at the University of Southern California and Yale Divinity School. She is the author of three books on Renaissance art and numerous articles on religion and art. A member of the Sisters of Saint Gregory, a religious community of the Episcopal Church, she is active as a preacher and speaker on art and religion throughout the United States and Europe.
