State Authorization of Distance Education Compliance, Information, & Directories

 

The U.S. Department of Education promulgated rules requiring all institutions of higher education participating in Title IV programs to be able to document compliance with state laws in all states where they offer distance or correspondence education.

Also included in this legislation, institutions must make available to students the process (information) for registering official complaints in each state.
